The challenge
With hundreds of thousands of cylinders moving between filling points, clients and return points, Messer needed a dedicated solution for scanning and tracking every unit — with flexibility on terminal type used at different operational points.
The solution
Rosistem developed Smart Scan, a bespoke solution custom-built for Messer, designed to run on terminals from different manufacturers — Newland, Datalogic, Zebra — based on each centre's local preference. Functionality: unified scanning, per-cylinder-type validations, full-lifecycle traceability, sync with Messer's systems.
